Organizational Structure

APCORE is structured to facilitate effective governance, strategic decision-making, and operational efficiency. Our organizational structure includes the following key components:
 

General Assembly
The General Assembly is the highest decision-making body of APCORE, comprising representatives from all founding member institutions. It meets annually to discuss and approve major policies, strategic plans, and budgets.

 

APCORE Chairman
The APCORE Chairman provides overall leadership and strategic direction for the consortium, ensuring that APCORE’s mission and vision are realized. The Chairman presides over meetings of the Executive Board and represents APCORE in major external engagements.

APCORE International Advisory Board
The International Advisory Board provides expert guidance and strategic advice to the Executive Board. It is composed of nine distinguished scholars, industry leaders, and representatives from partner organizations. The board members offer valuable insights and recommendations to help shape APCORE’s strategic direction.

APCORE Executive Director
The Executive Director is responsible for the overall management of APCORE’s programs and initiatives. They coordinate efforts across various departments and ensure that APCORE’s objectives are met efficiently and effectively.

APCORE Managing Director
The Managing Director oversees the day-to-day operations of APCORE, working closely with the Executive Director to implement strategic plans and manage organizational activities. They ensure operational efficiency and alignment with APCORE’s goals.

Management Committee
The Management Committee comprises key members who handle specific functions critical to APCORE’s operations. This committee includes:

Secretariat: The Secretariat manages administrative tasks, coordinates meetings, and maintains records. They ensure smooth communication within APCORE and with external stakeholders.

Finance Committee: The Finance Committee oversees budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring the financial sustainability of APCORE. They manage funding, grants, and financial planning.

Promotions Committee: The Promotions Committee develops strategies to promote APCORE’s initiatives, events, and achievements. They work on marketing campaigns and outreach programs.

Public Relations Committee: The Public Relations Committee handles media relations, press releases, and communication strategies to enhance APCORE’s public image and engage with the community.

Web and Social Media Manager: The Web and Social Media Manager oversees APCORE’s online presence, managing the website, social media platforms, and digital content. They ensure that information is up-to-date and engaging.

Events Committee: The Events Committee organizes and coordinates APCORE’s conferences, workshops, seminars, and other events. They ensure that these events run smoothly and achieve their objectives.

Committees and Working Groups
Various committees and working groups focus on specific areas such as research, education, partnerships, and member services. These groups are instrumental in driving APCORE’s projects and ensuring that our objectives are met. They collaborate closely with the Management Committee to align their activities with APCORE’s strategic goals.
